DIATOMACEOUS EARTH for Industrial applications

Our Diatomaceous Earth (DE) also known as Organic Fossil Shell Flour consists a complex and diverse framework allowing many beneficial applications.

As Diatomaceous Earth continues to increase in popularity across the world. It is being applied to various industries, providing businesses new opportunities as a cost effective, environmentally sustainable application to aid output, environmental conditions and improve processes. The industrial applications of Diatomaceous earth have become on of the most dominant in the market.

DiATOMITE As a Filler/Filter Aid

Diatomaceous Earth is a highly multifaceted mineral. Due to its honey comb like structure its very porous that abets drainage. Our Diatomite is 100% natural, contains organics, screened and non toxic. Through a research study on the Badgingarra site in 1973-1979 which included lab testing,  it was concluded that material from the Badgingarra deposit was excellent quality for their plant process and was superior in grade to most other regional occurrences for applications, such as beer and wine filtering.

Diatomite as an insulation mechanism

Due to the porousness of Diatomite, its application to insulation product manufacturing such as fire bricks is become more and more prevalent. Diatomite Insulation bricks have fine closed pores, high porosity, good thermal insulation performance, but low mechanical strength,. They are often used as thermal insulating refractory materials for industrial kilns and other thermal equipment and thermal pipelines.

Our Diatomite is available in large quantities for fire brick manufacturing internationally.

A peek at the commercial application of Diatomaceous Earth

Natural Diatomite

*Our Diatomaceous Earth is 100% natural and not calcined or mixed with any chemicals. In its natural form it holds an amplitude of application potential.

FILTRATION

Polish filtration of wine and other liquids requiring clarity

FILLER

Act as a catalyst or a processing aid

OTHER

Commercial level fertilizer and anti-caking agent.

Calcined Diatomite

*Our Diatomite is not calcined, however when calcined the potential for a multitude of applications opens.
